Zach Bush, MD: “The energy of our planet is the energy of our mothers, is the energy of our future children.”

I’m Dr. Zach Bush, and I’m excited to be here at the World Cup of Healing. I work at the intersection of human health and planetary health, where it intersects the food systems, soil systems, and maternal-fetal health.

Right now humanity is looking down the barrel of our great extinction event. We now have a crisis globally, not around just chronic disease, but infertility. And our mothers globally are facing a reality where it’s becoming more and more difficult to maintain pregnancy, for the lack of energy in our food and soil systems.

And so what we’re here to do tonight is bring attention to the critical fact that if we plan to remain an abundant species as humans that are interacting with a future nature, we’re going to have to align mothers and children with a planetary system of soil, water and food that brings nutrient density — that allows for this regeneration of health through a reconnection to energetics.

The energy of the planet is the energy of our mothers, is the energy of our future children. Without that, we lose the human species. And so we have this incredibly small window — the next two generations — to fix the most critical crisis that we’ve ever faced in humanity.

And you chose right now to show up, and I trust that we’re going to do that together. We’re going to find a path forward for every industry and every play to become part of this solution. It’s a human solution, and the planet is here to support us in that journey. So glad to be here with you, and look forward to seeing what we can create together.
